St. Louis is a wonderful city to visit with its many neighborhoods, Fair Park and the Gateway Arch. It has earned a place on our list of possible places to live.

The 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis was probably the most important ever as an ice cream vendor ran out of cups and requested the help of a fellow vendor in making holders—and the waffle cone was born.
