Yellowstone was the first national park in the world. The park’s awesome Old Faithful Inn celebrates its 100 year anniversary in 2004. It’s a fine example of “parkitecture” which means the structure blends in with its natural surroundings.

The state mammal of Wyoming is the buffalo. These massive animals are in no hurry to go anywhere, especially across the street in front of your car.

There’s a plethora of animals with antlers such as elk, deer and pronghorn… well, at least they used to have antlers. There’s a plethora of “antler art” in this state, too.

The Cody Nite Rodeo has been an annual event for 66 years. That means that it’s the oldest running rodeo in the US.
